At Home Town's trade-in scheme, you can exchange your old furniture, electronics, bathroom fittings and any old home scrap at the original purchase price. Walk in with an invoice of any old item, and get exchange vouchers of the same value, which you can redeem to buy new products of your choice.
The obvious question you thought you wouldn't get an answer to here - what in case you do not have the old bill? Home Town will still buy the old scrap and give an appropriate value for your goods. The exchange rates are given below for customers who don't have the old bill:

Sofas: Rs. 10,000
Bed: Rs. 7,500
Dining Set: Rs. 5,000
Other Furniture: Rs. 2,000
Mattress: Rs. 1,000
Electronics
Upto Rs. 5,000 based on valuation of old electronics (direct exchange against any electronics)
Metal / Hardware
(Locks, latches, hinges, taps, wires, Grills): Rs. 200 per kg
Ceramics/ Sanitaryware
(EWC, basin, shower panels): Rs. 1,000 per piece
Plastic
Rs. 100 per kg
Glass
Rs. 25 per kg (vases, bottles, lamps, bulbs, CFLs)
